Many years ago, our founder began his garage door career building garage doors from scratch, adding designs, inserts and windows, and figuring the spring requirements based on size and weight. After a few years of building the doors, he joined the installation team and learned all the ins and outs of installing those doors he designed and built. After mastering all aspects of installation, he went on to service and repairs. Our staff members have great mechanical aptitudes and it shows in their abilities to provide a repair when others cannot. They build cars in their spare time for fun and can fix just about anything if it is possible to fix. Jerry II is a Navy veteran, well versed in building trades. We started our company because we were tired of corporate greed. We just want to be ethical and honest, and give our customers the best service we can for the best price. OUR MISSION The Dragonfly Home walks alongside victim-survivors of human trafficking on their path to freedom and restoration. What does that mean? Freedom and restoration are words with a lot of meaning, and it looks different for each person. It looks like meeting each person exactly where they’re at on their personal path after exiting human trafficking. It looks like offering support and services to help a person find physical recovery from the abuse of trafficking. It looks like offering voluntary, trauma-focused mental healthcare as a way to help a person courageously work through the trauma they experienced. It looks helping someone navigate the barriers they face as they take steps to start over again. It looks like believing in each person’s unique strengths and supporting them as they choose goals for the life they want to build. THE PEOPLE WE SERVE When a person escapes from human trafficking, their journey to a future of freedom—physical, psychological, and emotional—is just beginning. In addition to experiencing brutal violence and psychological control from traffickers and the people who exploit them, victim-survivors of trafficking also know what it’s like to be treated like a product for sale instead of a human being. Those who experience human trafficking each have a different story, but each person walks in incredible courage, compassion, and resilience every single day. Dragonfly meets victim-survivors of human trafficking, including sex trafficking and labor trafficking, with compassion and empathy, working with each person as an individual in charge of their own healing journey. No judgment. No strings attached. We serve all genders, American citizens and foreign nationals, ages 15 and up. We also serve children and family members of people who come to Dragonfly. The only qualification for our services is that someone has experienced a form of human trafficking. We offer all services free of charge at Dragonfly, regardless of a person’s income. We strongly believe in the power of a warm, inviting, homey environment as the best place to recover! Our services at the Human Trafficking Relief and Restoration Center are non-residential, where our therapy rooms feel more like living rooms! Woodshed Coffee & Tea will rebrand in early 2024 to tmrw.coffee. What & Why For the past couple of years, we've been selling tmrw.coffee branded items, preparing for a rebrand that would bring you, our valued customers, a more focused retail experience for coffee and an exciting push into e-commerce for our tea brand -- Woodshed Tea. The time for that exciting change has finally arrived! There is no change in ownership, just a nudge in direction and strategy. Below is a little history and an explanation of the shift. We started 2015 importing and selling tea under the Woodshed Tea brand, and for the first three years, our focus and energy were solely on e-commerce and killed it!! Our success in tea allowed us to launch our shop in 2018, and we are forever grateful to Caleb Arter at Blue 7 for seeing the opportunity for a connected shop and giving us a runway to launch. We loved being connected to Blue 7, as the intermingling of customers boosted our brands. It was a #win-win. In 2020, our breezeway closed to welcome new neighbors: Preacher Pottery (https://www.preacherpottery.com) , CYL Infrared Studio (https://cylinfraredstudio.com/studio/oklahoma-city-ok) , and 3113 Nail Studio (https://www.3113.studio) . These incredible teams have brought a new dynamic to our side of May Avenue, and we couldn't imagine a better set of neighbors to work beside. The closing of the breezeway was a win for our block of shops, but I would be lying if we didn't miss the "shared shop" traffic and community! So, we began to assess a lot of things as a business and settled on the following two issues as needing to be right-sided: 1. Woodshed is known for its matcha, but lattes rule the sales reports. Our tea continues to take a back seat to our coffee, which is not surprising, as our coffee is incredible!! 2. Woodshed is still a tea-forward brand, as our socials are @woodshedtea, which confuses some at best and deters "coffee lovers" at worst. We can do better on both fronts -- first, we need to get back to our roots in tea by letting Woodshed Tea (https://woodshedtea.com) shine solely as a tea brand with all its products and history. Second, by elevating our tmrw.coffee brand to be our leading retail brand, especially as we look to expand our footprint in 2024 to another location with a mobile and text order-friendly drive-thru. The future is coffee and tea; by separating concerns, we can act intentionally as we market each brand independently. Thanks for your continued support of our shop and our team. Google, Yext, etc We'll begin replacing the Woodshed Coffee & Tea brand on all the maps with tmrw.coffee, hopefully, this will be done with little disruption, as we will just be updating the name and descriptions. In-store Branding We'll begin switching out Woodshed cups for tmrw cups and press into the brand a bit more as we emphasize our history in the location and the new direction we are heading as a company! Online Ordering & Website We are close to finishing the updated website and will switch over our online ordering to live directly at tmrw.coffee. No more subdomains; you can order directly from our website!! Instagram Strategy @woodshedtea (https://www.instagram.com/woodshedtea/) will archive many posts focused on coffee and begin to produce tea-related content, actively integrating our products with a focus on e-commerce.
