Woodshed Coffee & Tea will rebrand in early 2024 to tmrw.coffee. What & Why For the past couple of years, we've been selling tmrw.coffee branded items, preparing for a rebrand that would bring you, our valued customers, a more focused retail experience for coffee and an exciting push into e-commerce for our tea brand -- Woodshed Tea. The time for that exciting change has finally arrived! There is no change in ownership, just a nudge in direction and strategy. Below is a little history and an explanation of the shift. We started 2015 importing and selling tea under the Woodshed Tea brand, and for the first three years, our focus and energy were solely on e-commerce and killed it!! Our success in tea allowed us to launch our shop in 2018, and we are forever grateful to Caleb Arter at Blue 7 for seeing the opportunity for a connected shop and giving us a runway to launch. We loved being connected to Blue 7, as the intermingling of customers boosted our brands. It was a #win-win. In 2020, our breezeway closed to welcome new neighbors: Preacher Pottery (https://www.preacherpottery.com) , CYL Infrared Studio (https://cylinfraredstudio.com/studio/oklahoma-city-ok) , and 3113 Nail Studio (https://www.3113.studio) . These incredible teams have brought a new dynamic to our side of May Avenue, and we couldn't imagine a better set of neighbors to work beside. The closing of the breezeway was a win for our block of shops, but I would be lying if we didn't miss the "shared shop" traffic and community! So, we began to assess a lot of things as a business and settled on the following two issues as needing to be right-sided: 1. Woodshed is known for its matcha, but lattes rule the sales reports. Our tea continues to take a back seat to our coffee, which is not surprising, as our coffee is incredible!! 2. Woodshed is still a tea-forward brand, as our socials are @woodshedtea, which confuses some at best and deters "coffee lovers" at worst. We can do better on both fronts -- first, we need to get back to our roots in tea by letting Woodshed Tea (https://woodshedtea.com) shine solely as a tea brand with all its products and history. Second, by elevating our tmrw.coffee brand to be our leading retail brand, especially as we look to expand our footprint in 2024 to another location with a mobile and text order-friendly drive-thru. The future is coffee and tea; by separating concerns, we can act intentionally as we market each brand independently. Thanks for your continued support of our shop and our team. Hi, I’m Tiffany! I grew up learning to bake in my grandma’s kitchen, where there was always a pan of cake on the counter. With nearly every trip through the kitchen, we’d stop, grab a fork, and get a taste. I grew up with my grandma, and she showed me the way around a kitchen. While I wouldn’t say I use her recipes, per se, I definitely use her processes. 2012: YUKON BAKERY OPENS. A few short years later, we had severely outgrown our home kitchen. We took the leap, and opened our first brick-and-mortar storefront called ButterSweet Cakes. Custom cakes were the primary focus, but we also sold our recipes in the form of cupcakes. As fate would have it, cupcakes exploded in popularity and eventually became the majority of the business. 2015: EDMOND BAKERY OPENS. With things in Yukon going so well, we decided to take another big leap and open a second cupcake bakery, this time on the west side of Edmond. We opened in July of 2015 with crowds waiting. 2018: COFFEE BAR OPENS. With such a strong cupcake following, we decided it was time to pair them with great coffee. In June, the Motion Coffee bar at ButterSweet Yukon opens. In 1962, Al Muzny started our company with a single wrecker and a small Texaco gas station. With a handful of employees, he worked hard to forge strong bonds with customers through mutual respect, and consistently exceeded their expectations. In 1969, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission issued its first tow truck license to Al Muzny: Certificate No. 0001. Twenty years later, we reached a significant milestone when we were awarded a contract with the City of Oklahoma City for towing operations in the Northwest quadrant. At that time, we moved the offices and yard to their present location on North Villa Avenue. We have expanded the yard several times since then and can now accommodate more cars than any other towing company in the area. We learned early on that meeting the expectations of our customers would be the key to our success. We developed quality customer service, reasonable prices, and prompt pickup and delivery of towed vehicles. More than 55 years have passed since our humble beginnings in 1962. We continue to grow and have a deep appreciation of our employees and our many valued customers. Community Involvement and Industry Recognition Arrow Wrecker values community involvement. We have helped the Oklahoma Highway Patrol cadets learn about wreckers, and participated in the Students Against Drunk Driving (S.A.D.D.) program. Arrow Wrecker has been chosen repeatedly for the American Towman Ace Award, which puts them in the top 1% of towing operations for service, reliability, and professionalism.
